Lorelle Miller Fine Art

INSPIRED PAINTINGS, STREET PAINTINGS and SCULPTURE

“Painting, drawing and creating something out of nothing has been a personal practice my entire life. It is my pleasure to share these inspired works with you.

My love for nature and the search for connection to my subject matter is at the core of everything I do. I hope you enjoy what you see as I share my creative journey. Perhaps you will find a special connection here as well. “

I’ve known Lorelle for over 20 years and she has always been an artist of true creative passion, living and breathing the art of creating. She seamlessly moves from one medium to another bringing her subject to life in impressionistic magic.

It is always a joy to have Lorelle participate in one of our events. Over the years, she has created beautiful interactive street art for our private corporate events, as well as our public shopping center festivals. Her creative 3D street art is unparalleled and always a hit with our guests.

I came to an art class taught by Lorelle 12 years ago, never having touched paint to canvas, and I have never left. Her patience, excellent listening and observations, and gentle, kind, and sensitive nature are equal to her amazing background and skill level in all art media. I got a masters degree in personalizing and individualizing education, but it’s Lorelle who has that mastered. Thanks to her, my art has come a long way, and with her suggestions on what to rework on a painting, or what artist to check out on line, or watching her on Facebook doing a painting, I will continue to grow. And that process brings me more joy than I can express!

Lorelle Miller has been a teaching artist for Education programs at Segerstrom Center for the Arts since 2014 where she was selected to be part of our program for Equitable Science Curriculum integrating Arts in Public Education (ESCAPE).

ESCAPE was a multi-year program funded by The National Science Foundation in partnership with University of California, Irvine and the Orange County Department of Education to help children better understand scientific concepts through the arts. Lorelle was integral to developing Visual Arts science lessons and taught arts-based instructional methods to hundreds of public school teachers.

In that same time, Lorelle has also been a teaching artist on the Center’s Arts Teach program which aims to provide engaging arts experiences for schools and our community. Through her mastery of the art of street painting, Lorelle has always taken a personal approach to her programs by carefully integrating curriculum connections into her workshops and residencies to address each school’s specific needs. The combination of her attention to detail and high level of artistry has made Lorelle a highly recommended artist on our roster.

Whether she is working with adults or students, it has been a pleasure to work with Lorelle Miller as a teaching artist. She is an exceptional educator and role model who brings a masterful, engaging, and personal approach to teaching visual art and would highly recommend her without hesitation.
